After her studies in political science, Chantal Epiney Vocat began her career as a Communications Delegate for the Department of Finance of the State of Vaud. In the context of Vaud’s finances, she developed her skills and taste for institutional and political communication.
Building on this experience, she joined Transports Publics fribourgeois (TPF) in 2002, where she managed the company’s internal and external communications for five years. At the same time, she completed the SAWI/SPRI Communications Manager training course.
Chantal Epiney Vocat then took over responsibility for media relations and internal communications at Energie Ouest Suisse (EOS) in Lausanne. As a spokesperson for EOS, she managed a high level of media activity linked to the group’s dynamism and planned a merger with Atel in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. She was then appointed head of external communications for the merger. In December 2008, EOS and Atel joined forces to create Alpiq Holding, a major energy player in Switzerland and Europe. In this context, she was entrusted with media relations and communications/marketing projects for Alpiq’s Swiss Division, the Group’s main market.
Chantal Epiney Vocat joined ftc communication in September 2017 as a senior consultant, where she managed several mandates in the healthcare, real estate, and transport sectors. Since May 2019, following a family move, she has continued to make her skills available to the agency’s clients as an external senior consultant.
She then joined 3R – Réseau Radiologique Romand – as corporate communications manager. In this role, she develops the group’s integrated communications strategy, including corporate communications, branding, support for the customer relations sector, and employer branding. Chantal Epiney Vocat also advises and supports management in all communications matters, and writes the group’s institutional content, both print and digital.
In September 2024, Chantal Epiney Vocat returned to ftc as a senior consultant. She puts her experience and skills to work for the canton’s companies and institutions, providing strategic advice, managing internal and external communications, media relations, and content writing.
